Security & Loss Prevention
In 2001, with the incidents of 9/11, PHRST & Company embarked aggressively into the crisis management and extreme crisis response area. Building upon hands-on crisis management, security and loss prevention experience gained in military service, with Fortune 100 companies and various other organizations, PHRST was selected as the lead response provider and advisor for post-9/11 matters to organizations across the U.S. and internationally by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO). PHRST assisted business in recognizing, responding to and dealing with crises of various types, ranging from facilities perimeter security through dealing with anthrax threats to business. PHRST responded to more than 300 organizations to resolve crisis management matters and develop business continuity plans post 9/11. PHRST was widely recognized nationally and internationally in the media and industry sources for its work.
Continuing such work, PHRST furnishes and refers loss prevention services to organizations of all sizes, industries and geographic locations through its affiliation with the professional firm, Risk, Management Services Loss Prevention, LLC.
Personal Financial Planning
During the 1990s, PHRST & Company recognized and responded to the growing interest in and need for personal financial planning, 401(k) training and administration, designing alternative pension plans and assisting with administration of pension plan investment tools. Today, PHRST continues this practical service offering for individuals and businesses, and provides viable alternatives to supplement and enhance existing plans or to design new plans. The aging workforce, market changes in pension provisions and employees’ desire to maximize their personal financial opportunity are three primary reasons why organizations and individuals reach PHRST for financial planning assistance.
To service large and small entities at locations across the U.S., PHRST established an alliance with highly skilled practitioners backed by the resources and expertise of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. Working through the Ameriprise financial advisory practice of Bourgeois, Kasturi, Monroe, PHRST is able to furnish the client site-specific knowledge, skill and ability of licensed and certified professionals necessary by assembling a local team to address financial matters specific to clients.
Staffing and Recruiting
Since inception in 1984, PHRST & Company, Inc. has offered staffing and recruiting services across industries, for organizations of various sizes, for profit and not for profit, at locations throughout the U.S. and abroad, as well as for public and private companies. Applying its hallmark business model of professional human resource service teams located near clients, PHRST is able to target the knowledge, skill and ability necessary to mirror the culture of clients, effectively manage cost and aptly identify the best and most qualified candidates available to meet client specifications.
Experience indicates staffing and recruiting are very specific services for individual clients. More and less service may be required at different points in time and at different locations. Accordingly, PHRST offers a tiered approach to staffing and recruiting.
In fulfillment of this tiered approach, to provide local specificity and to ensure viable applicant pipelines, PHRST works with a variety of staffing and recruiting firms in retained as well as contingency capacities.
